This was taken inside the Orangery at Wrest Park, Bedfordshire, it's a stunning French style building, used to house the Earl de Grey's orange trees during the winter months.
I liked the chequered floor and got very low down to accentuate it, I also liked the shadows that the sun was creating on the walls. I waited until the boy (who was making a sketch) looked up before pressing the shutter.
Converted to black and white in Photoshop and used it to bring out the texture on the floor.
