I was walking along our local high street and saw this gent having a smoke, the background was a cluttered shop window and signs. But then the shop behind him closed and pulled down their shutters, giving me this great background.

Changed to monochrome in Photoshop, some tonal contrast and given a chocolaty treatment. I probably went a bit too heavy on the vignetting!
