This was taken in Saville, Spain. I noticed that as cyclists were coming towards me along the tram lines, they were passing through a narrow band of sunlight which was giving them some great rim-lighting around their hair and shoulders, and making them really pop-out of the background.

I set the camera to continuous focusing, with a fast shutter speed, and took a few cyclists before this one, the previous ones were either looking down or the wrong way. Sometimes you have to be patient and take several photos.

Converted to monochrome and given a chocolaty treatment.
